Start the season off on the right foot with Turkey Trot. This month-long physical activity program gets participants motivated to move toward a healthier lifestyle — and keep weight under control — during November and beyond.
How It Works
Participants track daily aerobic activity (any activity that uses large muscle groups, increases heart and breathing rate, and can be sustained for 10 minutes or more). The goal is 30-60 minutes/day, 4 or more days a week:
- Beginning exercisers aim for 17 minutes/day (500 minutes total)
- Regular exercisers aim for 25 minutes/day (750 minutes total)
- Advanced exercisers aim for 34 minutes/day (1000 minutes total)
